The Return of Godzilla (Gojira, lit. Godzilla) released as Godzilla 1985 in America, is a 1984 daikaiju eiga (Japanese giant-monster movie). The sixteenth in Toho Studios' Godzilla series, it was produced by Tomoyuki Tanaka and directed by Koji Hashimoto with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano. This is the second Godzilla movie to have the same name as the original.
