Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira?) a daikaijū, a Japanese movie monster,
first appearing in Ishirō Honda’s 1954 film Godzilla. Since then,
Godzilla has gone on to become a worldwide pop culture icon starring in
28 films produced by Toho Co., Ltd. The monster has appeared in numerous
other media incarnations including video games, novels, comic books,
and television series. A 1998 American remake was produced and a second
American version is in development.

Negadon: The Monster from Mars (Wakusei Daikaijû Negadon - 惑星大怪獣ネガドン - literally "Great Planet Monster Negadon") is a 2005 tokusatsu-style CG-animated anime 40-minute film from Japan. Created by Jun Awazu and his independent company Studio Magara, this animated film captures the "Golden Age" of tokusatsu cinema of the 1960s. The film has a high-tech modern edge added for good measure, but tries hard to maintain the "hand-crafted" feel of classic tokusatsu movies. Production of this film actually started in 2003. It has also been broadcast across Japan by the anime satellite television network, Animax.

Terror of Mechagodzilla (メカゴジラの逆襲, Mechagojira no Gyakushū, lit. "Mechagodzilla's Counterattack") and also known as The Terror of Godzilla in the original American theatrical release, is a 1975 tokusatsu kaiju film. Godzilla is an American science fiction film directed by Roland Emmerich and starred Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Maria Pitillo, Hank Azaria, Michael Lerner and Kevin Dunn. It was remake of the Japanese film Gojira. Despite having bad fan reactions (fans didn't appreciate the orgin difference or the differences between the Japanese Godzilla), Godzilla became a box-office success.
Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (ゴジラVSスペースゴジラ, Gojira vs. SupēsuGojira) is a 1994 kaiju film produced by Toho Studios. It was produced by Shogo Tomiyama and directed by Kensho Yamashita. It featured a musical score by Takayuki Hattori and a screenplay by Hiroshi Kashiwabara. The special effects were handled by Kohichi Kawakita. It is the 21st film in the Godzilla series, and the 6th film in the Heisei series.
Godzilla 2000: Millennium (ゴジラ2000 ミレニアム, Gojira Nisen: Mireniamu?) is a 1999 daikaiju film directed by Takao Okawara and written by Hiroshi Kashiwabara and Wataru Mimura. It was the twenty-third film released in the Godzilla series. Toho released the film in Japan in 1999, a year after the release of TriStar Pictures's Godzilla, supposedly in response to poor fan output. TriStar launched the film in the United States in 2000 as Godzilla 2000, the last in the Godzilla series to make a US theatrical run. This film effectively begins and sets the tone for the Millennium Series: It ignores continuity established by any previous films, instead preserving only the original Godzilla and working other appearances into the intervening years.

Godzilla vs. Biollante (ゴジラVSビオランテ Gojira vs Biorante) is a 1989 kaiju film written and directed by Kazuki Ōmori. It was the seventeenth film to be released in the Godzilla franchise and the second in terms of the franchise's Heisei period. The film is set after the events of The Return of Godzilla. The Return of Godzilla (Gojira, lit. Godzilla) released as Godzilla 1985 in America, is a 1984 daikaiju eiga (Japanese giant-monster movie). The sixteenth in Toho Studios' Godzilla series, it was produced by Tomoyuki Tanaka and directed by Koji Hashimoto with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano. This is the second Godzilla movie to have the same name as the original.
Godzilla Raids Again (ゴジラの逆襲, Gojira no Gyakushu, lit: Godzilla's Counterattack) was a tokusatsu kaiju eiga produced by Toho Company Ltd. in 1955. It was a sequel to the previous year's successful Godzilla and became second in the long-running Godzilla series. It is the first film in the series (and in kaiju eiga) to feature a battle between two monsters. Godzilla Raids Again features newcomer director Motoyoshi Oda but retained the special effects talent of Eiji Tsuburaya. The musical score came from Masaru Sato, who would return to score later in the 1960's. The film never bore the onscreen title "Godzilla Raids Again", which appears to have been invented by Toho before the U.S. releasers decided to change the name. The U.S. title of the film, in 1959, was Gigantis the Fire Monster. The film suffered heavy editing in the United States, and its tragic hero Kobayashi, played by Minoru Chiaki in his only science fiction role, was dubbed as a bumbling oaf.

King Kong vs. Godzilla (キングコング対ゴジラ, Kingu Kongu Tai Gojira) is a 1962 tokusatsu kaiju film directed by Ishirō Honda with visual effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. It was the third installment in the Japanese series of films featuring the monster Godzilla. It was also the first of two Japanese made films featuring the King Kong character and also the first time both King Kong and Godzilla appeared in color and in the same film.

Godzilla (ゴジラ, Gojira?) is a 1954 Japanese Kaiju science fiction film directed and co-written by Ishirō Honda with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya, produced and distributed by Toho Company Ltd. In 1956, a heavily edited version was released in the U.S. as Godzilla, King of the Monsters! The original Japanese-language version is now available in the United States and Britain under the title Gojira. It was the first of many "giant monster" movies (known as kaiju) to be produced in Japan, many of which also feature Godzilla.
Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (Gojira X Mosura X Mechagojira: Tokyo S.O.S.; lit. Godzilla X Mothra X Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.) is the 27th film in Toho Studio's Godzilla franchise, and the fifth film of the millenium series. It was released in 2003 and is the only direct sequel of the Godzilla Millennium Era (it being a sequel of the previous year's Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla).
